TOPIC: V2.1.1 Module (Calendar) more button

Hi Yvess,

Since v2.1.1 the more button in the module when I set it to display a calendar now links to one specific category. In V2.1 it would show all the current events across all the different categories (like it is supposed to do).

The URL it links to is the same as in V2.1....
I cannot find a setting to influence this behavior. Is this a bug, or am I missing something?

Hi Sebastiaan,

hmm strange one again. Do you have a Joomla menu link pointing to the eventlist with a catid?

The module is searching for the event overview menu link in the database, to get the right Itemid (else we get some Joomla routing issues..).

I have 5 eventlist menu items in my main menu all pointing to a specific category so that users can quickly navigate to the correct category.

Should I create a hidden eventlist menu item that links to all categories?

I made a hidden menu link to link to all categories and set this as the first menu item. Now the module links to the correct view.

So, the module is now working fine for you?

With 2.2.0 there are going to be four new modules, which replace this old one and offer some cool new features. The old module is just a quick interim solution.

Yes, the module now does what I expect it to do

Link to all categories when I press the more button.
