TOPIC: 3 bugs to be solved befor I can launch website

Hello Yves,
Here a summary of the bugs witch hold me from launching my "upgraded" website
Do you have any prospects of timing ?

Bug1:

Booking by a registered User,Events,

After Booking, 2 buttons appear "Cancel Booking"
one of the buttons should be "Back" and the "Cancel booking" buttom is misleading


Bug2
My Bookings, After editing/changing a booking by user

2 buttons appear "Cancel Booking"
one of the buttons should be "Submit" or "Save Changes"


Bug 3:

Only registerd users,
"My offers" as organiser of event

Edit a booking of a user: changes are not saved


2 booking of same person ar possible (Ok, but was not possible in old seminar)

Bug 1)

hmm can't reproduce this one :/ After my booking as registered user i get redirected to the booking details site. Looks for me like this:

And all links are working. Could you copy please the sites URL from the browser?

Bug 2)

You mean editing a users booking as a organizer? For me this also works without problems.

Bug 3)

I fixed this shortly after releasing 2.1.1 (just updated the zip file, not made a new release), so perhaps try redownloading and reinstalling it again.

Aye, we allowed two bookings of the same person, this is intended

perhaps you should change the users and passwords again and send them to my E-Mail address or via Skype (yves.hoppe). This is a severe security problem for you

I would love to see the old booking form removed forever... (old booking form = buggy code from seminar!)

thank you for your beautifull application,
I use it since a couple op years

I use it in a oragnisation where all members are register users. We do every month 1 or 2 events where the registerd users can book for.

So no use to ask the name, email en adress of the participants,
Also no Use to have payment module

Only a couple of supplementary fields where you can ask additinal info ( ex. number of guests they bring, or how many children ...)

If that is possible with the new booking form, (no names asked, no payment) why not !!


2 times a year we do a public event, with names, email asked, with payment. It would be nice, to be able to do too, but then it is neccessary to define parameters for each event. ?

PS: You know how much time it cost me to teach users on one of my sites to use seminar? I even went so far as to create several video tutorials because people were to 'stupid' to understand how it works (getting 10-20 e-mails per day from people who don't understand Seminar is kinda ridiculous). So if I now change over to the new booking form, I will have the same problem all over again.... (that is why on this particular site I still use Seminar, on my other site, no problem. Matukio is running fine there)

If you need to teach your users how to use Seminar and now Matukio, then there is clearly something wrong - either with the software or with the users. I'm all for making everything easier both for us as developers and for the users.
We need to make the usability of the extension better... if we need to remove the old booking form to achieve that and concentrate on what matters I'm all for it - but Yves is calling the shots on this one

Hi Daniel,
As I mentioned, the users on the one site are too stupid to even understand how e-mail works (things like using an e-mail address such as This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.), let alone go through another change with having to use the new booking form unfortunately.
