Hello

Joomla configuration: SEF on!

As long as Matukio is a submenu (menu item type = Eventlist), it is not possible to choose between categories. I always get a 500 error message. The URL looks like this:

http://www..../workshops/index.php?option=com_matukio&art=0&catid=132&search=&limit=5

On the other site: When I go from the linked course in the modul to the events, I can choose without problems between categories. The URL of the same category lookes then like this:

http://www..../component/matukio/3/2

But this means: After clicking the link I get a wrong view (no course, just the possibility to choose between categories.

I'm not shure wether you can understand all this. The easiest would be if you could have a looke at my testsite: www.panch.ch/joomla16 (the module is on the right side)

the URL to the eventlist:

www.panch.ch/joomla16/workshops/kursprogramm

EDIT: It was working without problems with the version 1.0(Beta)

Yes, I did. But as I told you this problem only happen, as long as the Matukio menu Link is a submenu and Joomla SEF is on.

And to be sure I just made it again: trashed the Matukio menu and emptied the trash. Created a nwe Matukio menu, but the probles remain.

To me the problem is in the router.php:

1. (working) Case:
The URL to get Matukio is: www.domain.com/kursprogramm (Parent Item of Matukio is "Menu Item Root")
When selecting an other category I get an URL looking like this:

www.domain.com/index.php?option=com_matu...d=13&search=&limit=5

=> works fine for every caregory.

2. (not working) Case:
If Parent Item is e.g. "-Workshops" the URL is www.domain.com/workshops/kursprogramm
When selecting the same category as above the URL looks like this:
www.domain.com/workshops/index.php?optio...d=13&search=&limit=5

Matukio can't handle then "workshops" and I get a 500 error message.

In both cases the menu item type is "Eventlist".

Hi Patrik,

okay i see the problem now. The category link is not routed correctly - i'm going to fix this with the next bugfix update.

Best regards,

Yves

After updating matukio to 2.0.1 I now get all the time a 404 error. Matukio will even not be found when it is a submenu (this part works with SEF= off). When it is a "Menu Item Root" the site will appear. But changing categories leeds to a 404 error. When SEF is off, nothing happens when changing categories.

I deleted the menu and recreated a new menu.

Matukio will even not be found when it is a submenu

Just did see that it works, when I assign the default site language to the menu (btw my site is bilingual, de the default language)
