TOPIC: CANNOT CHANGE NAME OF ORGANISER

I have the latest MATUKIO EVENT COMPONENT
I have tried many times even deleted and created new event in search of a solution to change the name of the event organiser ...
This seems not to work. Please can somebody help!!!

Hi Chris,

there are two positions for the organizer name:

1.) First the Joomla User for the Publisher.
2.) If you have a organizer profile (automatically created by default), the in that too. In the backend go to Organizers, select her / him and edit the name there.

I have done all that in the backend.
ACTUALLY The user alika1000 does not exist as Joomla user. I have changed it to a new name and I have set ORGANISER to this new name under SETTING for organisers in backend, still in frontend, the old name did not update. Its still showing alika1000 as organiser
What can I do.

Sorry, not sure if i can follow you. A organizer belongs always to a user.

What is the selected user (publisher) in the Matukio Event?
