Hi,
I have a number of different problems and needs:

Today I have my Matukio updated to version 5.1.3. The update has overwritten my changes in the css files. Fortunately, I always make backups of my site and I test updates for the first time in my production environment. Is there a possibility that custom.css can be added the package, so not every update all adjustments have gone away again.

I had also made some changes in the layout event, so that the image in the items are larger. The ratio of 2 to 10, I adapted. The update also overwrite this change.

Adding events is quite cumbersome. You must enter many items in different tabs. Is there a possibility that I can create a simple form for this action? We want different event organizers to provide an account, so that they can add their own events there in our system in a simple manner.

Adding in the backend is not flawless. The display of the fields is not quite right. See illustration.

What steps can I take to prevent the above in the future and contribute to the development of the package?

With regards,
Erik

That's the reason you always write css changes into your joomla template - not into Matukio files. The other reason is that the template css has an higher priority (loaded later) as the Matukio css. So just put into your template css file.

I had also made some changes in the layout event, so that the image in the items are larger. The ratio of 2 to 10, I adapted. The update also overwrite this change.

For that in Joomla exists template overrides docs.joomla.org/How_to_override_the_outp...rom_the_Joomla!_core

With Matukio 5.2 there will be a second, simplified event creation form for the frontend (primary for allowing event submission by the public - but it can also be used to achieve your needs).

Adding in the backend is not flawless. The display of the fields is not quite right. See illustration.

Do you use a custom backend template? Or does any plugin load some different css files? (This is not the normal layout on a default installation). Joomla 2.5 or 3.3?

Kind regards,

Yves
