How/where can I remove the id in the url?

for articles, it works with a change in the file components/com_content/router.php:
$advanced = $params->get('sef_advanced_link', 0);
to
$advanced = $params->get('sef_advanced_link', 1);
But how does it work for events in matukio?

this is not possible currently. We will adapt to the new router in Joomla 3.7 and with this it will be possible :-)
