TOPIC: Change the Order of Events

After completing entering my events list I noticed that based on date and time several are out of order. Is there a way to change the order of events without deleting and reentering them?

hmm you can change the default ordering at the event-list from r.begin ASC (begin date of events) to anything which matches better or even use group by.

But not sure exactly how you would like to have it. Can you provide some screenshots which ordering you would prefer? Then we see if we can help you with some tips to that.

I would like to be able, in this case, to sort first by day/date (Friday October 8, Saturday October 9, Sunday October 10) then by level of event (299er, Open)

From the bottom up
299er Pairs Friday Morning
229er Pairs Friday Afternoon
Stratified Open Pairs Friday Morning
Stratified Open Pairs Friday Afternoon
299er Pairs Saturday Morning
etc.

Hi Michael,

then you need a second criteria where we can sort on.

You can set the ordering for the event-list in the frontend the following:

r.begin ASC, e.title ASC

(In the joomla menu entry), then it would be ordered like that because of the title (numbers before letters).
