TOPIC: Setup diff booking times for the same day event

Can you guide me please in setting up different appointment times for the same event in one day?
I'm trying to setup individual appointment times for the same event. One appointment time for each customer. So when customer books a particular time, the time is no longer available for the next customer. Let's say for example 30 minutes increments for each appointment for that same day event.

Would the different times of a one day event be configured under DATES?

I just noticed that creating different times for the same event, actually creates different event boxes under Event List that look like different events. All I need is different times for the same event. Can't it be setup like with some sort of drop-down list on the booking page where people can select the different times? This way I don't have to show the same event 16 times on the List.
