Hi compojoom team.
I want to finally change using of Matukio form simple reservation system also to grading. It is more or less working, but may be you can help me to find one solution:
school have several fields of study with 5 years of study. So I have one group for every class in joomla. And of coarse one for teachers. Than access levels where in every level there is group of students (depends of field and class) and group of teachers (still same one)
In Matukio I have categories for every class and access level comes from joomla levels.
So students can see after log in only their categories. But teacher can see all of than (more then 300). Teacher are teaching different subject in different classes.
Is there some possibility to assign only some "categories" to teachers (all teacher are also "organizers" in matukio)?
Or do you have any other idea how to "hide" categories which they are not interest in?
Thank you a lot for your answer.

Hi Michal,

no there is no such option. You can use ACL levels to hide categories from people / organizers, but this probably is not the solution you want..

Kind regards,
Yves

Hi Yves
Finaly I did it like this:
I created group for every class and every single teacher.
than I created Access Level for every single subject.
Than I created Category for every single subject in matukio with same ACL group 1:1.
What solved my issue but: :(

As there are more than 300 subject I decided to create "matukio categories" via database import.
So I created entries for XX_categories and xx_assets columns.
I can see all created categories in category list but If I want to create new event - in the list I can see only categories, which was created via admin panel - I can not see categories created by CSV imports to database.
Do you have a clue what I missed? Or where can be problem (Create 300 entries take some time :))

Thank you a lot for your support.

And one more topic :)
Organizers can see all categories when they are creating event. Not only the once the have rights for. So if they by mistake create event under wrong category, they are no more able to see this event to edit or delete it.
