We have purchased/installed Matukio (ver 5.1.3) and are working on making the configuration changes to go live with the site. However, I have a couple of questions.
1. How does the end user display their past event history? We can bring up the booking history and see the event before the event takes place. However, after the start of the event, the event for the user is removed. (We have the "Display Event Until" setting selected to "Start" so that the full list of events only shows the current events.) To keep the event displaying in the My Bookings page, do you have to set the "Display Events Until" setting to "Forever"? Is there a way to display only the current/upcoming events in the "All Events" section, but show any/all (including past events) in the My Booking section?

2. How does the end user print their certificates on their own? We have the certificate system turned on in the Basic configuration settings and Participant Certificate Printing turned on in the advanced configuration settings as well. Also, the certificate has been assigned (and can be printed) on the bookings page on the back-end. However, I don't see any place for the user to print their certificate from the front end/Booking Details.

3. Is there an updated list of Template Replacements? I thought I saw some replacements in another forum post that are not on the documentation site, but I may be mistaken.

Thank you for your help,
Marty

Hi Marty,

1.) He selects my bookings and additionally selects the filter -> All events (or past events) on the left side (Date filter).

2.) After the event is over, the button "Print certificate" will show up in the booking section in the frontend for certificated participants.

3.) It's in the documentation, but below the editors in the backend, there is also a button called - > Matukio placeholders <-, just click on it and you get a lightbox popup showing all available replacements :-)

Kind regards,

Yves

Thank you for the quick reply and information.

Q1 has been resolved. We were not seeing the Old Events in the left menu on the events pages because we had turned off the Event Type filter. As soon as that was turned back on, the events were displaying exactly as we had hoped.

Q2 - Printing certificates from the front-end still is an issue for us, but again I suspect that it is a set-up issue on our side. Here are the settings that we have identified:
Certificatesystem is set to Yes on the basic configuration settings
Participant certificate Printing is set to yes on the advanced configuration tab
The event was created, registered for the event, waited until the event ended, certified the participant (the certificate prints correctly from the back-end) and went into booking details. Only have "Calendar File" and "Contact" as options on that page.
We have tried toggling the "print event list" option, but that did not help.

Are there any other configuration settings that we could look at?

Q3 - Will take a look at the place holder info that your provided.

Thank you for your help.

I found our issue with the front-end certificate printing. It looks like the Participant Certificate Printing option in the Advanced tab of the configuration settings is the opposite of what I expected.

When the Certificatesystem setting (Basic tab) is set to "Yes" and the Participant Certificate Printing option is set to "Yes", the ability to print the certificate from the Bookings page is NOT there for me. However, when I changed the Participant Certificate Printing option to "No", the button appears in the booking page.

Just wanted to pass this along.

This is a great application and know it will serve us well as soon as we finish testing and roll it out to the production site.

Hi Marty,

okay i investigated a bit and you are right, this is a bug - will be fixed with the next version.

You already found the workaround ;-)

Kind regards,

Yves
