I'm having an issue where I have set Matukio to send an email to both the participant and the organizer when they register for an event. Unfortunately, it is only sending emails to the organizer. I believe I have all the appropriate settings turned on. Is there something simple I'm missing?

Matukio Version 5.1.2
Joomla Version 2.5.14

Hi Michelle,

can you upgrade to at least 2.5.28 (better would be 3.4 - 2.5 is no longer supported by Joomla) first - i think there was a bug in the JMailer. (And there were 10s of high priority security problems with Joomla since then, so there is a very high chance your site already got compromised..).

Did you use the same email as the organizer? Outlook and most other clients hide duplicate emails.

Kind regards,

Yves

Ok, I have a test site that I have updated to 2.5.28. I have updated all other extensions Joomla offered updates for except Matukio. When I try to update Matukio, it states,

Hi Michelle,

did you insert your compojoom download id at the Matukio options (dashboard or settings). How do you try to update? Live update is no longer supported - we have been using the Joomla installer since some versions. For that the Matukio - Joomla Update plugin has to be installed and the download id has to be set..

But probably the easiest way for you is just downloading the current version from compojoom.com and then updating / installing it over the joomla installer (no uninstallation before!)

Kind regards,

Yves

Ok, I've updated everything I can. Joomla - 2.5.28; Matukio 5.1.3. I'm still having the same issue. When someone books for an event, they get the following error at top:

"You must provide at least one recipient email address."

It will repeat this message twice. The booking happens, but no emails are sent to the client, just the organizer.

Did you change the field-name for the email booking-field? (Configuration -> Booking-fields) Field-names are only used internally and there is no reason to translate them - if you change it for firstname, lastname and email you are going to get troubles (like the tooltips, documentation etc. states).
