TOPIC: limit event availability to a specific group

Is there a way to limit an event to only be visible and bookable to a specific group of people? It wouuld be great to limit based on Joomla group. In addition it would be great to limit based on other criteria like ip address.

You can not limit it for a single event - but for a category. Just select the ACL level / group in the category settings and only users in this group can view and book the events in this category.

Limiting access based on ip addresses is not possible without changing the code (There was also a Joomla plugin/ extension for that where you could limit access to sites / parts of the website by ip ranges e.g. allow only 10.0.1.0/24 or something like that)
