Hello,

Have just been testing the contact participants option on a new installation and it opens up the new window, but I cannot click in the box and the screen has like a dark filter over it (if that makes sense). If I try to click on the box to get a cursor to type, it justs closes the window. See screenshot of the pop up window looking odd with a filter.

Am using the latest version of your software with Joomla 3.3.6. Site template is JSN Venture Pro. Using the bootstrap template for your software.

Test this with both Chrome (latest version) and various version of IE - (9,10,11)

Have you seen this before?

Thanks Pete

Hi Pete,

then your Joomla template screws up the bootstrap .modal class :-)

Do you have a link?

Kind regards,

Yves

Hi Yves,

Thanks for the reply. The site is not live and still has lots of work to be complete, but I have just moved it onto some live hosting so you can take a look. It will show as offline when you go to the site, but I have created you a logon so you can logon and take a look. I'll send all the details outside of this forum.

thanks Pete

Hi Pete,

sorry for the delay. It's a z-index problem (the background has a higher priority then the foreground in your Joomla template). The following CSS code should fix that:

.compojoom-bootstrap .modal-backdrop {
z-index: 10;
}

But that has some downsides too (The content of your template has a higher z-index, a bit of a mess to be honest - but at least everything will work then).

Just add that code to your joomla template CSS file.

Kind regards,

Yves

You wasn't wrong when you said it could be messy! Your fix worked, but I had all kinds of issues with the main menu showing through the box. Issues with the template. A few minor tweaks to the modal box position has got around this....

cheers for your help again. Pete.
