TOPIC: Grading system

Hello all
Iam using Matukio at our school for scheduling and reservation for the examing. Unfotunatelly for grading students I have to use moodle which is connected to joomla. Moodle is great tool, but too big and complicated for what we need from. I know that there is possible to send "certificate" from Matukio. Is it somehow possible to use it also for "grading" (so it mean that after some exam - teacher is able to grade studenst who atend it. So Teacher (item opener) need to have an ability to grade all studens who attended it and studens can see just their grades.

Hi Michal,

yes a grading system is directly integrated into Matukio since Version 4.4. Just turn it on in the options (Basic tab -> Participant grading system).

Currently it is basd on european style grades (e.g. 1 best - 6 worst, have A - F on my todo-list) - the grade can be seen in the overviews (by your students and teachers) and your teachers can grade the participant in the booking details (Frontend and backend):

I am gona to test it - how long do you expect for this A-F grading? (can I just "rename" it in translation from numbers to letters?)

Is it somehow possible to "skip" step after click to "book" button?
As only registered users are alloved to log in to the system and an I have all information that I need I do not need this step. (I disabled all bookinfields, but still need to click another "next" button)
And hopefully last question: If teache is creating event - he need to select "organizer" - but there are listed all joomla users (in my systems more then 1,5k) - is it possible to preconfigure it as there will be automatically creators name, or at least just a "joomla group" with a teachers?

In this case no, it's really hardcoded as 1-6, if you are in a hurry i am going to bring it with the next bugfix release version.

Hmm which step do you mean? You can set the booking form to one page (with the setting) if it is not paid. If it's paid you could disable all payment plugins.

Currently not, have a setting for that (e.g. group select) on my todo-list for one of the next versions.

OK - I ment after you click "book" you are redirected to page with stages "1" and "2" - on first you need to fill what is defined in "booking fields" and in second step you need to accept the terms and conditions. (i have something wrong because if I try to book, error: Your booking was not successful! You are already registered for this event. You cannot book the same event twice. appear - and there is no booking in the event) - but hopefully this I can find by myself

I found some bug probably.
If I try as "teacher" in the frontend in "booking list" add mark to the student - after save there is no more name of student but name of teacher
as additional question - is it possible to somehow modifi "booking list" som I can see there marks of all students? (best with ability to directly change it - for examle like on attached picture.

Wow weird - do you use firstname and lastname fields? Or do you use only the Joomla users data?

I am using first and second name. I am using component "Easy Profile"
But at the other page I am using both without any issues. If needed I can create you an account so you may be can check it directly.
I tried it several time and under several accounts - but every time whe I change anything - not just the mark - booking is changed to the account under which I made a change.

That's weird - that's a fallback if no name is in the database and i think that's the problem.

Once again thank you for update.
May I have several additional questions?
1. if "teacher" reate a new evewnt - is disabled - there is actually no other option to enable it just in administration mode. "New Bookings active" value in advenced settings is enabled.
2. I updated temlate of booking list - so teaches now can see gradings of students in the table, but how can I show mark to the the students? Is it possibel to make some "summary link"
3. I enabled "one page bookingform" but there is still page where i need to field "booking field" - When I disabled them, it looked better (there was still two clicks) but then there was problem with the template for signatures (first and second name was not show)

1. Not sure if understand you correctly - can you explain a bit more?

2. The mark is shown in the booking details and in the eventlist overview (my bookings) in the modern template, currently not in the bootstrap 3 eventlist template.

3. Hm you always have one page in the booking form to fill out? Just the confirmation page is hidden then. When no one enters first and second name where does the data should come from?

1. If you create a new event at the frontend, it is not show in the event list, as it is created as "disabled" by default. After I enable it in administration part of the system, everything is working fine.
2. I am using bootstrap template, so it is why I did not saw it
3. I am actually using in production page verioins 3.0.8 whre I have default teplate (not modern) - in this - booking si done just by click on "book" field. Name and surname are enought from joomla profile - as access is aloved only for registered students.

1.) That's a setting, called moderated events - if set to yes an admin has to enable events before.
3.) You can disable all booking fields (just unpublish them) But there is still an empty form then.

3. It is no problem to have a free form - may be I can create some new field with some important question. But anyhow is it possible to baypass this issue with name? I mean that first and second name are from Joomla acounts? (may be just by change of the template)
4. I there some way - how can studens search for their finished events? As well if organizers can search for their already finisned events. Usualy they will be graded after the event is over.

3.) First and second name aren't saved in Joomla accounts, just the name (that's the reason you can't get it from there) - but you can just change the placeholder in the export template (Settings -> Templates -> Export Templates) from MAT_BOOKING_FIRSTNAME and MAT_BOOKING_LASTNAME to ---> MAT_BOOKING_NAME <---- which is taken from the Joomla user.

4.) If they are logged in they can click on my bookings? If they are in the past -> Just change the event kind filter to old or all events: awesomescreenshot.com/0213om8776 (The bootstrap 3 template even offers more filters like this week, this month, this year etc.)
