TOPIC: Editor in brief description

Hi,
Is it possible to get an editor to load when entering the brief description? HTML seems to work (I tried the strong tags) but in order to possible get an image in there and make the event listing look nicer, the client is going to need to do this with an editor.

Is this possible, somehow?

Hi Dave,

only with some code changes - since 4.0 we allow some (minimal) HTML in this field, before html was completely forbidden in the short description. That's because the template can break there easily, for some advanced users i removed the filter, but showing an editor will cause problems for most users. (We would need some sort of whitelist for that).

Might you consider the possibility of getting a thumbnail image in the description via uploading?

hmm any reasons you don't use the event images? (Okay it's not uploaded directly in Matukio, but you can upload it via the Joomla media manager).
