Hello,

On another site where I have Joomla 3.2.3 + Matukio 3.0.8 + AcyMailing 4.6.2 (latest) it works if I want to add a Joomla module (Matukio upcoming) to a newsletter.

But the second setup is Joomla 3.3.0 + Matukio 3.1.1 + AcyMailing 4.6.2 and the Matukio module won't show anything on the newsletter.

AcyMailing manuals say that the module won't work in the letter if it uses Javascript, Flash or iFrames. Is this the reason why Matukio 3.1.1 module stays empty in AcyMailing newsletter? Or is it something with the new Joomla?

Hmm we had some changes in the module, but we still have no JavaScript, Flash or iFrames in the upcoming module, just plain and simple HTML. Hard to say if Matukio or Joomla 3.3 is causing this, there were some changes in Joomla 3.3 according to modules too. Hard to say without access to your installation - you could try first updating the Matukio 3.0.8 installation to 4.0.0 and then check if it is working as expected or the other way around.

Which ordering are you using in the module? Maybe some old module settings break the module so that we have an error and not aan empty output. Does the module display fine on the site itself?

Best regards,

Yves

Hi,

I updated Matukio from 3.1.1 to 4.0.0, but no change in AcyMailing newsletter. But nice looking UI in this new version! A bit wide fields, but better that than too narrow.. And the backend brings WP to my mind.. :)

The ordering is the default "begin ASC". The module on the site is ok (however the layout needs some css fixes..). Actually you have access, I sent the details via email on Wed last week regarding the Yes/No button CSS error on frontside event creation. Upgrading to 4.0.0 did not help this either..

In this newsletter issue I tried different module setups as well, but without any luck (module ids 148 and 179).

Hi Miika,

hmm 4.0 has not changed anything in the modules so it can't fix the problem.

Just looked at your site - the module settings are right and i also tried the joomla plugin triggers (loadmodule etc.) and still no output. You should probably open a ticket at Acymailing, they should be able to tell you more.

Best regards,

Yves

P.S.: The translation strings of the module are not loaded too - wired.

Ok, thanks. I'll try with the Acymailians.

How about that CSS thing (frontend yes/no buttons missing)?

Hmm there is more then one issue - looks like it has something to do with your default editor jckeditor, which breaks the javascript when clicking on the buttons. If you change that at least the buttons work, but css is still screwed - bootstrap is loaded twice (once by matukio and once by your template - and your template uses an old version) and the styles are not loaded correctly..

Kind regards,

Yves
