Hey Reinhard,
Yes, so powerful! Features are hidden all over the place. I'm actually glad that Yves is doing the support for Matukio, but since he is now on vacation I had the honer of looking around for this option :)

When you go to the configuration page on the top you have an options button. Click it. There under permissions you'll have to select the group that needs to be able to create events -> grant them the create & edit.own permissions. After that once you login with the user you should see the my offers tab.

Cheers,
Daniel

Hey Reinhard,
You are on the right screen, just move your eyes focus with about 10cm :)

Thanks Daniel.
This helped, i found it finally.
Anyway this didn´t help really.

My problem to solve is:

I have different categories wich cannot be maintained by registered users. This is fine, i don´t want any user to disrupt the planning of the official events.

But there are some members of our club, which would invite some other user to some private events.
The other users should be able to book these event as well.

My try was:
i created a new category for all registered users where they can do what they want.

The Problem: i can give registered users rights to write/create/etc (see above) but i cannot restrict it to certain categories. This drives me crazy. Any hint is appreciated!

Hi Reinhard,

hmm you can not restrict write / create / edit access to certain categories (just view / book rights).

You could create a Joomla user group (over registered) and access level for them, but that won't help you with the different categories though.

Best regards

Yves

Hi Yves!
Hope the vacation was good!

Do you perhaps have an example, how to solve this?
All registered people should have a common playground of their own. This playground should be a category.
And they are not allowed to interfere with existing playgrounds except viewing an booking.

I tried several times now. All times, when the registered people can create events, they can do it in the other playgrounds as well.

Hm as i said i fear that is not possible, because limiting editing rights to categories is not designated by the ACL system.
