Hi,

I try to insert an iFrame in my event description but everytime I save it is removed. I already disabled all editors. So now I only see the HTML - but still does not work.

Does Matukio not accept iFrames? It is a youtube video.

thanks

Hi theraf,

hmm there is normally no html filter (except the joomla (editors) one) for the long event description.

Still does not work. Do you have an example where an iFrame (e.g. youtube) is insert? I found a solution via a youtube plugin for joomla.

When you go to system -> global config -> filters you can see the applied filters to the different user groups?

If you are creating an event as super user then no filter should be applied. Those filters are applied once you save -> joomla will clean up the text according to the filters there.

However as Yves said -> if you use an editor such as JCE for example it will automatically remove the iframe -> solution would be to turn it off for the page that you are working on and insert it with plain text.

I am logged in as super user - no filters activated for this user. As I explained it is even filtered when I use no editor. So it cannot be the JCE.

Do iFrame actually work in your account? Did you test it? I cannot believe I do something wrong in mine as I am aware of these filter processes by Joomla.

The same is valid for the PayPal Button see my other entry in the forum. Will not be accepted.
