Hello!

I´ve got two problems with Matukio.
I can´t add an event to it with the frontend. The "+" button just wont show up, no matter which editinglevel i´m using. Could you please tell me how to do this?

Another problem is, that there are no modules for showing the upcoming events on the frontpage. Is there anything i could use? I need this module very soon.

Thank you in advance

Hi Stefan,

as default setting frontend event creation is forbidden, to enable it you need to set you need to set the setting "Frontend Eventcreation allowed for" first. For example to publisher.

You can install the current development version of Matukio. It comes with a module, which supports three different styles, including upcoming events option.

Apropos there will be also a new development version today or tomorrow with a lot more updates, bugfixes and new features.

Best regards,

Yves Hoppe

P.S. You can also write in german :)

Hi Yves,

I set this setting to Author, as in the former seminar-version, but no button appears.

edit: Ok...the button appears, if i set frontend editing to "no". Thats kinda weird?

Where can i get this dev-version?

Got it. But got this problem with it: "Incorrect version sequence. Cannot upgrade 1.0 to git_0f0925d".

Regards

P.s.: I´m prefering english, so foreign people, who don´t speak german can use this topic for help, too. :)

Aye that's a very strange behavior. In the new development version we changed the complete Frontend creation to the new ACL System that Joomla offers and this setting will be removed.

Got it. But got this problem with it: "Incorrect version sequence. Cannot upgrade 1.0 to git_0f0925d".

This is a security check against installing an development release over an stable version. You have to uninstall the stable version first (backup the tables first, in the 1.0 beta version there's a bug which removes all matukio tables on uninstall) and then reinstall the new version.

Best regards and thanks for the good support!

Hi Stefan,

since this night the new development version of Matukio is available at https://compojoom.com/downloads/dev-matukio . Please backup your Matukio Tables first and before you upgrade you should uninstall the old stable version.

Because this release changes so much, i will publish a detailed Changelog in the blog later.

Best regards,

Yves

There's nothing to download on this url.

Any instructions on how to do this? Thanks in advance

Hi Mukom,

hmm the URL works fine for me (don't copy the dot). You can also reach this area through the menu -> Downloads -> Developer Releases and select the version from yesterday night.

Best regards,

Yves

It doesn´t work for me as well. It seems that there has to be "/developer-releases-geeky-stuff" after downloads/.

I didn´t test this new version due to no time, but´ll do it later and tell you if it worked.

Hmm,

very strange - we just created a test account and it works just fine.

compojoom.com/downloads/developer-releas...ky-stuff/dev-matukio

Please try again and check the url in your address line.

Best regards,

Yves

P.S. What error message are you seeing?

This is the right URL.

Regarding the component:

The frontend-editing-control functions now, but the component lets the boarders of the design break. This was no problem in the previous version. Have you edited any design/css rules?

Maybe i can send you a link to my site, so you can see it yourself?

Regards

Hmm strange - we haven't changed much in the css (just reorganized it and fixed some issues), but we changed much frontend html code. It would be nice if you can provide a link to your site.

You can also add me at Skype if you want to, because i think this is rather an template / incompatibility problem.

Hallo Helmut,

Helmut

Ja, das muss es sein. Die downloads sind nur für subscribers.
