TOPIC: location of the comments on the page

Hi, thanks for this great component/module. I have installed joomlacomment successfully, but I don't want to display the commnets at the end of the page but rather on the left side of the content.

My webpage is a two column page. left is content (video) and right side is for comment. is it possible to do this with joomlacomment?

If yes, what to edit?

I am not using that component.
Right now I am adding the html/javascript code of the flowplayer manually. :\

Not very easy to get it as you want.
You can go to: components/com_comment/joscomment/comment.class.php . And there find the function visual_htmlCode and you will see at the end of it - the actual html code it is writing. You can try to add a div and then to style this div to show on the right of the text. That is difficult!
I believe the easier way is to start using seyret and make changes to its template.

I'm thinking to code my own comment system that van ben put anywhere on the content page. I only need a simple comment system.

Well, you can write your simple comment system in 1 hour.
Just few lines php and you are ready. But you will still have the problem where to put the comments. And the most elegant solution is css.

I'm going to use this extensions.joomla.org/component/option,c...ink_id,60/Itemid,35/
to insert the comment anywhere I want.
this should fix the location of the comments problem.
