TOPIC: Do search engines index the comments made by !joomlacomment?

There could be a lot of useful information in the comments. I'm wondering if Google or any other search engine indexes the comments with !joomlacomment.

I was also wondering if there is a search plugin for joomla that would find words written in the comments of !joomlacomment.

hey ph111, of course that the comments are indexed from the search engine

The search bot lands on your site and looks at your content. Since the comments are on your site they are being indexed. So the next time someone searches for something that is explained in the comments you have chances to be in google search result.

I agree to daniel. The search bots search the content and index them. If this is not indexed what is shown in search results...
