I am using Joomla 1.5.15. I downloaded joomlacomment4.0.0RC1.zip and it installed without any problems.

I'm sure that I am just missing something in the configuration. I'm 73 so that is probably possible! lol

I set up a menu item called "Comment" and the menu link opens the content area just fine and a gray colored area shows up so I know that the !JoomlaComment is trying to come up.

The website is at www.college-high.com and the link directly to the comments panel is www.college-high.com/chs/index.php?option=com_comment&Itemid=74 .

Like I mentioned above, I'm sure that I am just missing something in the configuration. Thank you! :) Bob Eddy

Hey Bob!
Man are you really 73? And you are doing all this stuff! Respect!!!

You are making a small mistake. I know that it is confusing, but you should not publish joomlacomment as a menu item.
The comment system is supposed to show when you open an article in single view. Just make the titles on your articles a link to the single view. And once you click them you should see the comment form.

Check our frontpage also. When you click on an article you go to the single view and there is where you should see the comments.

Hi Daniel. I know that this question doesn't fit here but, how/and where do I control which articles the comments link shows up on? It is showing on the 3 on the front page and I would like to have it show on the bottom two but not the main article. Is it possible to do it that way?

Sorry to sound like such a dunce!! lol :) Bob

Check the component settings. You can choose specific categories and sections and also you can forbid showing the form on specific articles. Everything is under content settings.
