I'm using a Rockettheme template and J1.5 and have !JoomlaComment installed but a few of the other plugins I have use JComments and not !JoomlaComment. I am using !JoomlaComment for most of my categories and will still probably use it anyway for the frontpage-linked articles but may need to use JComments for some other frontpage links and need the frontpage to be some kind of uniform between both. I have 2 questions:

1. In the picture below, !JoomlaComment is being used and the 'Write comment' link is placed well, but I would like it below the 'Read More' link instead of above it. How can I switch their position?

2. In the picture below, JComments is active on my frontpage and the 'Comments' link is now above the image instead of where !JoomlaComment has it. How can I change the placement of it to match how !JoomlaComment places it as shown above in #1 (with the link below 'Read More instead of above it)? Is it a template file to be edited? CSS? PHP file?

Please help. Thanks in advance!

Actually, I am looking to replace the "Write Comment" line with the "Add new Comment" line from JComments in the same position for the categories that I'm using JComments so they both look the same where one is used and the other is not, but !JoomlaComment has it at the end of the content rather than after the content? Is that correct? Is this a matter of class placement? I need to know which file to do this in since it does not look like a simple css change.

Ideally here is what I need:

1. For the blog layout in categories where I'm using !JoomlaComment: The layout would be as shown in the image displayed #1 in my previous post, but "Read more>>" is before "Write Comment"

2. For the blog layout in categories where I'm using JComments: The layout would also be as shown in the image displayed in #1 in my previous post, but "Read more>>" before "Add new comment" (JComments link)

This is complicated. There will be a JoomlaComment 4.1 Alpha 2 release within the next few months which will have a similar behavior to how JomComment displays info on Frontpage articles (and will be increasingly flexible based on user feedback).

I agree! I wish it was as simple as just moving it around with your finger because that's all I really want to do, but unfortunately it not. Thanks anyway. I'll keep trying and post if figure anything out.
