Hi all,

I am sorry for my ultra-newbie question, but I installed the module through the install/update module feature of joomla 1.5. I see !Joomlacomment under components, but when I try to add a !Joomlacomment module to my page, I don't see it listed as a type of module to add. How do I add it to my page???

Thanks!
Bryan

The Module is not part of the Component as such, but a seperate installation product.
You can download it from here: compojoom.com/downloads/cat_view/56-joom...joomlacomment-module

Then you must install it normally, and publish it to some Module position. Ie. right or whatever.

-Remember this is a "Module", which is not the same as the Component, hence it will not be seen in the Component listing.
This is why I am thinking you are refering to the Component installation, and not the Module.

Hey,

Thanks for the reply; I did this and it installed a module that shows the latest/most comments (i.e. most voting yes comments, etc...) however it does not let me post comments. Please help.

Thanks,
Bryan

Hm... the module itself is not for writing comments, but it pulls information from comments made to content items.

If you are not able to write comments to your Content Items (articles etc), this indicates that you have not allowed for commenting in the categories you need, which is done from the backend.
