TOPIC: Adding Component not on drop down list?

I am trying to add the Seyret component. But when I go to Other Component list, it is not on the drop down menu for Components.

Is there something I need to do prior to going to Component list?

What version of !jocomment are you using?

I am using 3.26 and the latest version of Seyret 0.2.8

Can you look in the plugin folder and tell us if the seyret component plugin files are there?
If not you have upload them.

I looked in the site plugin folder found nothing that resembles that, checked the Seyret plugins folder, not there, checked for the JoomlaComment Plugins folder but could not find such folder.
Where do I get the plugin and which folder does it get uploaded to? I checked both Seyret and here and could not find it.

look in the zip file under plugin - you should find the folder com_seyret. Unpack it and upload the files to the appropriate folder on the server.

Ok, I'm officially a dumbass. I have looked and looked. I looked on my other site where it is working but still can't find where it gets uploaded to. Where is this appropriate folder?

administrator/components/com_comment/plugin

I'm using J!1.5, Joomlacomment 3.26 and seyret 0.2.8.2. I have enable joomlacomment in seyret setting, but when I go to Other Component list, it is not on the drop down menu and i can't add it by using the New button...

I look in the plugging folder in administrator/components/com_comment/plugin and I find a com_seyret folder which included 3 files : index.html, josc_com_seyret.class.php and josc_com_seyret.php.

Any idea to resolv my problem?

I have extactly the same problem for the same version of these two components. When I try to click 'new' on the 'other components settings' tab, I am redirected to the 'content settings' tab! Isn't this a bug?

Click first save and then try to click "new"

When I'm on other component tab, there is no 'save' button.

When I am redirected on content 'setting tab' afterclicking on 'new' button in the other component tab, i can't save the setting. A pop up opened at this moment on which it is written : 'Select another component'...
