where to enable users to edit their comment?

Was it not possible in a previous version for users to edit their comments? Or has this never been in Joomlacomment?
I really need to know fast.

Do you use ajax?

yes.

I got a client who demands this functionality (after I migrated the site to 1.5), as this was in the previous site (joomla 1.0), but I can not find it anymore.

There is no specific option enable user edit, but if you use ajax, per default the user should see the option to edit.

If he doesn't then you are either not using ajax or you have made changes to the template file.

I just tried it on your demo-page. There is no edit-link in my comment:
demo.compojoom.com/the-news/45-joomla-co...ent_id=2553#josc2553

only 'reply' and 'quote'.

carsten you must be registered user to edit your own comment! and on the demo page you can not log in, because you don't have a username and password.
