I am very new to this plug-in and I can't seem to find the option to allow for comment replies. I have tried looking through past topics and can't seem to find a topic that matches. The reply button doesn't seem to be showing up on the frontend either. I am using the Mynxx Template if that matters.

It's impossible to turn it off, it should just be there. First try switching the JoomlaComment template to modern (it is currently the most compatible and most updated), if it still doesn't appear try switching the Joomla template from Mynxx to ja_purity and see if it appears - then we can at least determine if it's a conflict with the Mynxx Template or something else.
Also if you could reply with a link to your site (or PM it to me if you wish to keep it private). The JoomlaRocket templates are... not coded as well as they could be - and I'll need to see the site to be able to bugtest it. |

I went and switched to Purity template and the reply option showed up. Here's the kicker ... when I switched back to Mynxx, it was now visible (only if I am logged in as SAdministrator). I don't know if that is how it is supposed to be, but I am OK with that. As long as the reply button doesn't disappear again. |

Oh.
Joomla Backend > JoomlaComment > Content Settings > 'Posting' tab > 'Only Moderators' - change this to no. Then all your regular members as well as anonymous users can reply. |

No sorry, that's not entirely correct. You need to enable Ajax Support (a few options above) for the Voting, Quote, Reply, and so on to show. Otherwise you just have an extremely basic comment system.
