Greetings forum people:

Is this support for Compojoom.com? If not where can I reach support?

How do I install something that will allow comments in Joomla?

Is that "something" a plugin, a module, a component, or all three at the same time?

I already tried to install 4.0 beta2 (July 2009) authored by Compojoom.com.

But after I installed it, I got two messages:

One message listed three moveing errors I made and that I need to contact support. Is that you?

The other message said that the installation was a success.

Right now in my components list there is "comment" and it's enabled (4.0 beta2 (July 2009) authored by Compojoom.com.)

But I cannot see where it is in by FTP client.

Do I have to rewrite permissions? If so, then to what?

Please help. Thank you very much,

Sincerely,
Boyd

This is it, the official support forums ;)

With our JoomlaComment of course! It's a component, and a plugin that comes with it is automatically installed (so it can attatch to the Articles and other Content items).

There is a module, but it's an extra and entirely optional one - called 'Latest Comments'.

But after I installed it, I got two messages: One message listed three moveing errors I made and that I need to contact support. The other message said that the installation was a success.

Sounds like a permissions issue. CHMOD all folders to 755 and all files to 644. The tmp, logs and media folder sometimes have to be 777 though if the server is not 100% Joomla compatible. Also mke sure you have the FTP Layer enabled in the Global Configuration - this ensures that extensions via ZIP upload can be installed with full user permissions.

But I cannot see where it is in by FTP client.
