Hi,

I'm trying to change the look of my template, and I've installed your componant, but is there an .html or css that I should be changing to look like the joomla comment on the right side of this page? Right now, the "default" template and the little smileys seem like it's still my old joomlacom 3.26 even though i put in the newest one for php4 and php5.

Is there any way to modify this template?
Thanks much :) Dee

I should add that I am using the standard modern compojoom, but the box look doesn't "fit" my site, it's humongous and i've tried all of the other templates. They don't look as nice as some of some other joomla comment extensions... am I doing something wrong?

Perhaps you are still using your modified version of the standard template that was comming with joomlacomment 3.26?

Geez, I see what the problem is! I'm almost embarrassed. How do I get rid of the box to submit comment unless someone clicks on it first? The box takes up half the page and I see on your site here that you have an "add comment" button on the top right of the box. I don't know why I didn't see that before:) thx...D.

All the template files are in this folder:
/components/com_comment/joscomment/templates/

You want a template where the 'Write Comment' box is hidden until somebody clicks it? Try any of the 'slide' templates - but be aware that some can be buggy (we still need to update them). MT-DoubleSlide, SSlide-emotop, and I think a couple more have a slide-open New Comment box. Just try them and see - you can change the template in the JoomlaComment backend :)
