TOPIC: allowing links in the comments

I'm trying to work out how to allow others to post links in the comments section.

From the backend it says (links and pictures are deactivated) So how to I change this to activate links?

I've read the post about automatic recognition (think it would be a great idea) but im struggling to get a standard link
