TOPIC: Registered Users

Hey everyone I just recently installed jomcomment to my site and am extremely happy with it! I just have a preference dealing with registered users. I know if a user is logged on to Joomla, their username will be pre-filled in the name field by default but is there a way to take the name field away altogether and have it to where they don't have the option of changing it? I just want the registered users to go by their real username. Thanks in advance!

by default if you are logged you don#t have the option to write another name or am I wrong?

That's what I'd prefer but here is a screenshot of when I'm logged in:

That comment you see is one that I left for testing purposes with a different name.

No, I never got what I was looking for so I just moved on to other stuff in the site. It's not a MUST but it's a preference that would be nice.

As I wrote in my previous comment if an user is logged in they don't have the option of changing their name (the username is grayed out) or do you want that this field disappears completely?

The username being grayed out is exactly what I want but it's not showing that way.



I'm logged in and still have the option of changing it.

Just as I was supposing from your screen shot. You are not using our component, but jom comment from azrul.com. You can ask them for assistence or better - switch to our component and get everything out of the box
