TOPIC: disable user notification when comment unpublished

how to disblae the user notification when a comment gets unpublished?

I manage do disable the comment-delete-notification:

but when unpublished, I can't find it in the code.

I don't see the logic behind this. If I posted a comment on your web site and marked the thread for notification - this means I want to be notified (doesn#t matter if you unpublish or delete my comment)

I agree with you. But the other way around does not make any sense:
I post a comment and select not to be notified. When there are new post I don't get notified, but when the comment gets unpublished or deleted I DO get notified.

So thats why I disabled the notification when the comment gets deleted, and now want to know how to disabled notification when the comment gets unpublished.

I subscribe to this idea. It would be good if a user selects not to be notified that he wouldn't get the email when he's comment is approved or deleted. Can this be done in version 3.26?

Hey there! I was thinking a lot on this topic. We need to rewrite a lot of the code and change the database logic to make such improvement work.
Right now the e-mail adress is stored in the same table with the comment and the notify field. We have to move the e-mail and notify to their own folder. Then we can make the option to only subscribe to an article (without posting) or unsubscribe from a topic. The way it is right now means that you have to post a second comment with the option notify set to no to unsubscribe. I will add this to the wish list and we will make improvements on it after version 4.0. If you have any ideas please share them with us!
