TOPIC: ISSUE SOLVED: Disable Voteing

Hi, I have just recently installed Joomlacomment. Now at first I was testing all the settings and turned on the voteing system now when I go to turn it off it stays on. I would like to not have this on the home page so how can I remove this from the system.


Edit: Found the issue, I needed to remove the vote.php and vote.xml files completely.

vote.php and vote.xml are you speaking about the joomla voting system? We don't have such files.

In the comments config there is a enable voting. Once it is turned on it stays on no matter what setting is chosen there after.

So for me to get it off my front page, and any articles I have had to delete the vote.xml and vote.php in the plugins/content directory.

enable voting is for the comments and for the articles!

To disable the joomla voting you have to go to extensiosn->plugins -> find the voting plugin and disable it.
