TOPIC: Where did my Latest Comments go?!

Hi there,

I recently updated my Joomla 1.5.8 to 1.5.12 (although I now have the latest version) and when I did, my latest comments module on my homepage is missing. I uninstalled the component completely and reinstalled it and still cannot get the latest comments module to even show up as an option. All that I have available is the component and then 2 plugins (I believe) both of which are enabled.

Any ideas on where this went? I loved it!

I can not imagine that this thing went somewhere - it should be in extensions->modules.

If it is not there, then you can try to click on new-> and then to choose comment module. Do you have this option there? If you don't this means that you have deleted the module. So you will have to install it again.

Unfortunately, it must have been deleted during my Joomla! upgrade because it's appearing in the existing modules or when I try to add a new, there isn't an option for this anymore.

So, how should I go about reinstalling this while keeping my existing comments and component unharmed? Would I just reinstall the entire component or is there a specific module that is a stand alone install.

Module! Why do you want to uninstall and install again the component???
Just download the module from the download section and install it
