I successfully installed recaptcha in JoComment 4, through the JezreCaptcha plugin, by replacing the code for the built-in captcha with JezreCaptcha's {captcha}. B) This has resulted in a layout problem: the SEND button, which should be below the (re)captcha image, now hides behind it. This seems to be a minor problem, but I am a complete newbie and am now at a loss. Please, could you help me out: how can I get the SEND button to take its proper place?

Also: my modules on the left and right positions disappear when I activate the comment form. I am using the MT-DoubleSlide template. The modules reappear only when I refresh the page and the comment form folds up. What should I do to keep my left and right modules from disappearing?

Thanks a lot for Jocomment. Even with these minor problems, which I think are only due to my incompetence, it's a very great tool. I had tried several extensions for the purpose, but this is by a very long shot the best.

PS. I have to add a third problem, because I just noticed, as I was about to click SUBMIT, that your page also has the same problem as mine: the comment area gets behind the Spotlight, the part at the bottom of the page that in your case has the links to "Our Sponsors." How do we make sure that this Spotlight gets pushed down by the comment form, instead of remaining still and covering part of the comment form?

Many thanks again.

Thanks, Daniel, for your reply. I have since solved my layout problem with the SEND button: it is now in its proper place. I have found out, however, that it does not work for reCaptcha. It seems to still be a SEND button for the built-in captcha, and when clicked gives an error messsge--expectedly. So, my help question now is how to get the send button to work with reCaptcha. My site is hotchristians.x10hosting.com/

Thanks again for a great component and great support!

Seems I should just stick with your built-in captcha; reCaptcha is proving most difficult to install in Joomla Comments, even with the Jez Joomla reCaptcha Integration plug-in. Anyway, your Joomla Comments is really already very fine, clean, and powerful as it stands. However, I am being consumed by the challenge of getting reCaptcha to work, having already started toying with it. What I have done thus far is to make reCaptcha appear on Joomla Comments. To make the Joomla Components SEND button work with reCaptcha, it seems that, as reCAPTCHA instructions say, some script have to be changed in or added to some file that handles the send command/function. This is really the obscure part. In the case of Joomla Comments,

(1) WHICH FILE (name and path) should be changed (that is, which file handles this particular send/command function)?
(2) WHAT CODE should be added to this file and, if applicable, which code should be replaced?

Thanks for your help to this newbie who's going over his head.

Ajay Lulia is working on recaptcha integration. I don't know how far he got with it - last week he said 50% was ready. Recaptcha integration will appear in one of the next releases.
