TOPIC: (posted) x minutes ago, instead of time

Since visitors to most websites are located in different countries, is there a way instead of showing a time in a given country, to state that the post was made, (4) minutes ago, or however long ago it was posted?

Otherwise, there will always be a majority of people who view the time and it's not even their time zone...

Hey owen, no right now no. There is no method to show the time as you want it. I will add your post to the wish list.

Very good idea. Perhaps we could make it so "if the post is less than 24 hours old, show a 'blah-blah hours and minutes ago'" text, possibly to make it adjustable.

The thing is, I am trying to get everything right on my website, and I strongly believe there is ‎only one way to display the comments properly, and that is by showing “(posted) (x) minutes ‎ago” or “(posted) (x) days ago”.‎

Since I see that in every serious web site that is the only way the time reference in comments is ‎displayed, I think that not only I will benefit from this important addition, but I think that it will ‎put your component even further in top of the Joomla comment components, since it will be the ‎only one offering a really serious and professional display of the comments on websites.‎

So please let me know if you can estimate a time frame in which you believe you might be able ‎‎(if at all) to proceed with such a tweak and, as I said, I will be in contact with you to arrange donation/payment for your expedited effort.‎
