TOPIC: joomla comment appears on every page

Joomla Comment is appearing on every page (except the home page). It seems like a pretty good program, but enough is enough! My plan is to have a menu choice that opens up a page with only joomla comment on it - and none the rest of the pages would have joomla comment. I am assuming I didn't set it up right (this is the first component I've set up). Any suggestions? What if I wanted it to appear on the home page and no where else?

You have to choose what sections and categories you wish for joomlacomment to appear.

Just in case anybody else has the same problem here's how I fixed it.

1. Created a section called "comments" and a category called "comments".

2. Created an article called "comments page" - selected "comments" for category and section.

3. Created a menu item called "leave a comment". Under "menu item type" I selected "article layout". Under "parameters basic" I selected the article that I just created, called "comments page".

4. Under "components" I selected "!joomlacomment" then "other component settings". Under "exclude/include" I selected "include". Under "exclude/include categories" and "exclude/include sections" I selected "comments".

Not exactly intuitive, but it worked!
