TOPIC: J1.X to J1.5 migration issue with !joomlacomment..

I've migrated J.1.0.15 to J1.5.9
And I've comments on my old Joomla .. I used com_migrator for the migration and Installed !joomlacomment alpha4 ..
And there's no comments showed in the new Joomla.. so what should I do .. and if there's a copy from Database how can I copy it..?
my old prefex was dp_ and the new one is jos_

in my old joomla I used !joomlacomment 3.26

Are you sure that the installation went fine? Can you see any comments in the backend? Are joomlacomment's plugins in place?

You don't need com_migrator to make the migration for you. Just open your old database with phpmyadmin, make a dump of joomlacomment's tables and import them in the new database and that should it be.

I did that but the tables starts with dp_comment
and the new database is jos_comment
so there's now 2 tables of everything related to comments and the new one is jos_
so how can I modify them to be jos_comment instead of dp_comment?

well I've manually modified it with the notepad ..
but I've a problem with it on my site ..
I had arabic comments .. but it came unknown language..

And when I type arabic .. it doesn't make everything on the same line its like I press enter in the half of the sentence.. dunno why is that!

sorry for the delay, I was on a trip to London.

Did you check the database collation - it needs to be utf8_general_ci for your language to work?
