TOPIC: How to show comments by default - version 3.6

Hello

I have 3 questions:

1.- I'm using version 3.6 (version 4 is alpha) and would like to show comments by default, just like if you had just clicked the "Read on..." link. I don't want the users to have to click to read the latest comments.

I've set to not to show the Read on... link, but it shows the comments in an ugly way. After you click "Post a comment" then you see comments with the right format.

2.- How to auto-set the email notification for posts to the users? it's not that obvious to select you want to be notified, so i wan it to be the default.

3.- How to set the From: field on email notifications? currently i get something like domain.host433.hostmonster.com as the Sender, and would like it to be the site's domain name.

how should the articles show? You will have to either click on the read more, write comment or on the article title to access the whole article and post comment. That is the only why joomla can work.

about the 2nd problem - search the forum. I already showed how to change the order of the notification system.

about the 3rd problem - check your global configuration. Change the settings under server->email

About the email notifications (3rd point) is weird: i followed your advice and everything is set accordingly, even more, if you register into the site, the activation email comes with the right sender, title etc. it's just this messages from joom comments that show wrong. I can't find any other related parameter.

About showing comments by default, i understand that the only way is like this? showing just a preview of comments?

Sorry, there's a misunderstanding about showing comments:

I mean when you are reading an article, not in a list of articles, that is i have the full article shown, and the comments are hidden by the "Read on" link, or just the preview.

Could you please see the article i'm telling? www.ambienteverde.com.mx is the first article show, and at bottom there's the preview, currently there is just one comment, but after you click on it, it is shown with more format

Well, you have enabled the preview option and as I see it needs a little bit css to match your design.

That is how the preview option in general looks like.
You only have the date and a part of the comment. If your comment has a title, only the title will be shown.

About the mail - I don't know. Do you have any possibility to test this with joomlacomment 4.0 alpha3?
