Hey there!
Open your joomla template (template_css.css) and find the a.readon class

then remove the width from it. At the end it should look like this:
a.readon {
background:transparent url(../images/readon.png) no-repeat scroll 0 100%;
display:block;
font-size:100%;
font-weight:normal;
height:25px;
line-height:22px;
margin-top:15px;
padding:0 0 4px;
text-indent:6px;
}
