I think the error could be caused for more complex interaction. I review my work and nothing looks like cause this strange behaviour and I tested with original template files also, just to be sure, and get the same malfunction.
Then I login as a student and found the problem is not a problem at all because edit buttons are not showing
That's great news for me because I really don't want students changing their posts (it's a competition). But this reminds me I'm using noixACL to controll group access - maybe there is some kind of conflict. Could be?
Anyway, I think I must run a better test with all my specific setup in mind. I'll make a fresh install, no costumization and try with different template, public access, English language (I'm using costumised Portuguese translation), different user type, etc.
I think I should give you more information and I apologise for take your time.
