Hi, Been using 3.2 and love the ease of use. However; I've assigned a manager level user to access this component from the backend and this is my dilemma:

I can log in under this other user name and see the comments and edit away without any problems or error message showing "not auth" but the other user (located in another part of the state) logs in on her computer, she see's this message "not auth" and cannot edit the comments. Does she need to have Administrator/super Administrator access to edit comments. I really don't want to give her any higher access than Manager. I know that she can edit from the front end, but I want her to have the ability to approve/edit/delete recently posted comments from the back end.

Is there something I'm missing?

Thanks
Alana

only super admins can manage comments.

However it is possible to turn off this limitation with editing just one line in administrator.component.php, but this means also that the user that is logged in as manager will be able to change the content settings configuration.

I need to have admins have access to the comments to approve from the backend because there is no way for them to login to the front side. Can you tell me the code to edit. I am using Joomla Comment 3.26

Thanks
Shawn
