but i cant make it work
my files and folders are correct (644 & 755)

it´s just that the image of security code doesnt work

your server must have an error log!
look in your server control panel.

right click on the captch->properties, copy the path and see for yourself that the script is generating an internal server error. In the error log should be written why.

Ah and also - what is your php and mysql version? A user mentioned that joomlacomment doesn't work with mysql4.
