TOPIC: Anonymous comments can use registered names

Hi folks, newbie here. Your plugin rocks, btw. Very smooth.

Only 1 problem so far:

I maintain a fringe news site and allow anonymous comments, and it is possible for anonymous users to appear as registered users, including the Administrators.

Is there any way to make the script so that anonymous comments cannot contain the username/realnames of registered users?

I'm having pretty much the same problem, I think, and it's driving me nuts. I run a news publication and we're having a growing number of incidences where people are going to a story page and another user's name automatically pops up, so they post under it. It's very uncool and causing a lot of consternation.

My comments version was installed in December 2006; do the newer versions solve this problem?

Well, if you are not logged in - the user name you wrote in the form is displayed - but is also clear to see that the user is unregistered. So what is the problem?
