Hi Rafael,

sorry for the late response.

We want to show a seperated archive for our events. A list which only shows the past events.

Yes this is possible with Matukio 3 - just create a custom menu link to the eventlist.

We want to change the ordering of the events list (ascending/descenduing).

Yes this is also possible now - you can set the ordering directly in the Joomla eventlist menu entry.

Best regards

Yves

Could you explain in detail a bit? You mean I create a seperated Category "Archive" and make a link to this specific category from the menu? But this would mean the events must be moved into this category manually after they have expired.

thanks

No there is a parameter to show only old events - so you can create a menu link with that set.

Where is this parameter and how is its name? I do not find anything in the menu item.

Regarding the ordering: it is only valid for a specific menu item. When I click that item the ordering is desc, but when I switch to another category within this item the ordering changes back to asc.

Take a look at the screenshots.

Best regards

Yves

I assume you are refering to my archive question? Could you please explain a bit more in detail? I think this would solve the problem faster. Otherwise I have to ask again and again.

I have my events: web383.webbox239.server-home.org/ver01/i...eventlist&Itemid=501
When I add "dateid=2": web383.webbox239.server-home.org/ver01/i...t&Itemid=501dateid=2 it does not change anything.

Where do I add "dateid=2" ? Menu item? Which select box? I do not see any "archive" select box.

And please: What about my ordering question? The ordering in the menu item does not serve any purpose when it changes to ASC as soon as I switch category.

Thank you!

You have t o add an & before:

web383.webbox239.server-home.org/ver01/i...mid=538&dateid=2

No select box - create a normal Joomla external link (not a Matukio menu item) with this address:

index.php?option=com_matukio&view=eventlist&art=0&catid=82&search=&limit=5&Itemid=538&dateid=2

Best regards

Hmm going to try out and debug locally, normally the ordering should not be changed when switching a category.

Best regards,

Yves

Ok, from the list "Alle Kategorien" I want to show only the expired events.

Does not seem to work:
All my categories: web383.webbox239.server-home.org/ver01/i...eventlist&Itemid=501
web383.webbox239.server-home.org/ver01/i...&Itemid=501&dateid=2

Shows the same result :-/

Fixing the ordering issue would be great.

We have version 3.0.8. Is there a way to fix this by a code hack? Could you tell me where exactly I have to change it (file name + line + parameter)?

If not, when will the next version be avaiable? We have a client waiting, so it is quite urgent for us. Thank you.

Any idea? Still shows the current events.

I cannot find this part in the documentation. How should some know that he has to add dateid=2 to his URL?

It's not documented, because you normally use buttons / selects for that.

You need to show the kind of event option, else the dateid is ignored. (You can hide it with css).

We are currently in the second beta, the first release candidate is probably going to be available next week.

I fear it's not that easy, there are many pieces of code to change.

Best regards

Yves

Where do I set this option? German name? I do not know the system as good as you do, so these kind of infos do not help me a lot :-/ thanks.

Since four weeks I need the help to show an archive and all i get is just one sentence answers that do not help. I mean for example the "dateid=2", how should I know that?! I did not develop this system...

It would cost you less time if you gave me a full instruction how to set an working archive link. Just imagine I am six years old and you have to explain it to me.

I cannot find any option like "kind of event".
I can give you backened access, but I need to fix this now.

Thank you!
