TOPIC: Show all categories/icons on the map by default

Yes! good! but... the last thing: how can I change the number "3" to get the number of the category that I write in the menu setup?
I try to explain: I have 2 menu items for 2 categories. Now when I click one of this the map shows the hotspot of that categories, but I would like to list the hotspot too.

It is not possible to show the hotspots from 2 categories at the same time. Either just one or all.

I think I don't explain you very well...
I would like that the hotspot about the category that I click on the menu, appar on the map but the list of that hotspot appear in the list on the right.
I want to change the code window.fireEvent('hotspots.category', 3); in window.fireEvent('hotspots.category', var_XY); where var_XY is the id of category that I write in the menu item.

Hi just wondering if anyone has found how you adjust the number of entries within a category which are shown at any one time (prior to the more entries button)? Ive adjusted CSS within the side menu so that I can fit more entries on but cant find the code / bit which controls how many entries which appear. Is this hardcoded in somewhere?

Newly returned to hotspots via a multitude of other mapping solutions, thank god for the work of the team this is definitely the most reliable standalone mapping solutions Ive found!

Should do exactly what you want. Once the category loads, it will click the menu on the right and will tell it to load the hotspots in this category.

@Kate - please start your own thread.(I'll tell you what to change and where) This question has nothing to do with the category discussion that we have.

I'm using this code and it works really well, but he doesn't show 2 marker on the same place, like Hotel+Restaurant ( company that want to be in two categories ) how is possible to show the two marker for the same company?? THANKS IN ADVANCE ! it's very important to me... and i think for more other users!

Other soluction that i find, but not the easy way, it's to merge two icon's for the same place, but it the diplay ( near to the search field ) it show icon on over the others... so it's possibile to resize the distance from the icon??
