I installed and configured CComments Core, but no comment is being sent. Clicking the Send button has no effect.
No cache on.
I have switched off CComments now, to not show the not working form.
How can I fix the problem?

Comments are send with an ajax request. Most probably it's failing for some reason, but since you've disabled comments I can't tell you what the reason is. The provided username and pass doesn't have admin credentials so I cannot turn on the comments myself.

Daniel

Thank you, Daniel.
The user credentials I provided DO grant Super User privileges, so you can access the Control Panel.
Let me know if you really can't access the Control Panel

Hi Claudio,
When I try to access the backend I get
Nome utente e password non corretti o non hai ancora un account.

You were right, Daniel.
The password I provided lacks one character. Now I edited my first post and the password is correct.
I apologize.
Thank your for your support.

I just tested it and I see a js error on the page, but I'm still able to post comments and comments are also loading. Can you have a look again please. Can you point me to an article that doesn't work?

Yes, Daniel.
Now all seems to work properly.
I don't know why: have you changed somewhat in the configuration?

I'm sorry, but something strange is happening...
Yesterday the comments system worked well.
I disabled the test comments, I exit the Control Panel and I went to sleep.
This morning, no comment can be sent. Moreover, even if old comments have been published again they do not appear in the frontend.
I can't point out the problem.
It seems as only if the backend is active the comments can be sent, but this not works everytime.
It's quite strange!

Another update...
After closing both the control panel and the frontend, published comments are no longer visible and cannot even be sent.
I have to open the control panel and in the comments management page and click one of the links to the articles.
Then the comments are visible in the frontend and can be sent. I don't know if they are visible by everyone or only by me.
But if I close the control panel, the comments disappear again.

I think that I see the problem, but no idea which component or plugin causes it. When we submit the comment the response is:

<html><head><meta charset="UTF-8"><script type='text/javascript'>(function() { var as = document.createElement('script'); as.type = 'text/javascript'; as.async = true; as.src = '/fireshield.js?t=6n4caj0m7bj8gr6hk0154ik31j6b5g243m153l4m29kindakj8ns5sb7sc6u98ien2768m319lb99kq3jca1hav83kpp1hl5gmgh4qbvgm918bc1n9rrfqti3kq2148vueql72o7sdg9t9n7os8e3u2hk84ge7l81paql8ckk30vip3iu3hbrtrfrtdd2rim036jqtp0719asif2vbabh0ulalboq51l8dcjg8oe869ccc37hppeai1jlktsfv3b'; var s = document.getElementsByTagName('script')[0];s.parentNode.insertBefore(as, s); })();</script></head><body></body><script>setTimeout(function() { location.reload(); }, 500); </script></body></html>

instead of our json, your site returns some javascript - fireshield? I have the suspition that this is something from your hosting, cause I saw something similar when I tried to access your backend.

Thank you so much for your info.
In fact, Fireshield is a security layer managed by my internet service provider. I will talk with him about this strange issue. I'll keep you informed.
