Resolved Hidden fields in CMC Mailchimp for Joomla

using CMC mailchimp at http://www.west5web-develop.co.uk/demo/loyalty-card-corporate.
Works great but would like to know if the following are possible.

1. Switch off the need for users to click a link in the confirmation email. I.e. as soon as they submit the form, they are subscribed automatically

2. Is it possible to "hide" the source and date API fields but still have them send information through to Mailchimp (source always sends "website" and date API always sends today's date).

3. Is it possible that the gender field should always pass “M” for male or “F” for female.

1. I don't think that we've added an option for this in the UI, but you can certainly do this with a hack to the code. I've explained it already on the forum.

2. Why are you showing those in the first place? You always have the subscriber's date in Mailchimp...

3. What is it passing right now?

Many thanks for your reply. All is now great but I can't find instructions in the forum for hacking the code to "Switch off the need for users to click a link in the confirmation email. I.e. as soon as they submit the form, they are subscribed automatically".

Can you point me in the direction of these instructions please.
