Hi Yves,

I know you have another ticket open on this topic right now so I'll try to include all the information you requested there to define this problem.

I have two locations (UTC-7 and UTC-6) using Matukio on the same server (UTC-6). Some of the events in Matukio need to be scheduled and shown in UTC-6 time and some in UTC-7 time since events are listed for both locations. The ics file also needs to have time zones turned on (not local time) so users in both locations get correct times relative to their timezone.

PHP timezone setting is "date.timezone=America/Chicago" (PHP 5.5.15)
Joomla server timezone is "America/Chicago" (Joomla 3.3.6)
Linux server has timezone set to CST (which is America/Chicago, which is UTC-6)
Matukio has "ICS File Local Time" set to "No"

When a user clicks on "Calendar File", the ics file is generated with times that have a "0Z" at the end of them but the times are UTC-6 times. I can set Matukio to use local times for ics files but that results in the wrong times for those users in UTC-7.

I think there is still an issue with setting times in ics files properly.

It would also be great if we could set the timezone of events and have that timezone be displayed in the event template. The timezone displayed there now is just the Joomla (or maybe PHP) timezone. Here's an idea... how about assign timezones to the location so that timezone is automatically set when a location is specified for an event?
