Resolved Problems with the fieldmapping CMC community

Hello.

Trying to add the cmc community registration plugin for a joomla site but I can't get it to work with the fieldmapping for FNAME and LNAME.
I have read the doumentation article https://compojoom.com/support/documentation/cmc/ch03s05s02s02 but they wont add to the mailchimp email list.
Only by updating preferences (following the link from the activationmail sent by mailchimp) the values for FNAME and LNAME gets added to the list.

What am I missing, shouldn't the fieldvalues mapped in backend get added automatically by the plugin?

It's been over a week now without any response from Compojoom. What do I have to do to get support in this matter?
